Now we just need everyone in CA to vote against the constitutional amendment in the fall. I'm proud of the judges in California for not bending to the "pro-family" pressures that the WA state judges succumbed to.
(I have to admit that I'm surprised at the ruling - if only because since MA it has failed in every other state, NY, OR, WA, NJ i think)
It looks like California doesn't have that weird old law that MA has that ended up limiting marriage for only residents of the state. So any american couple could get married in CA (but for now only MA and CA would recognize it, but who knows what will happen in the next ten years.)
