Cruise 2011

Okay ladies.. we totally need to make this cruise thing happen... and we totally need a "villa" when we do it!  Can you imagine, a week of Cottey people, all the entertainment of a cruise for the families (to keep them out of our hair, of course), a big space just for Cottey people to hang out while on a moving ship, going to a great international beach location??? Come on! We have to make this happen!!!!

Check out all the links for ideas, but we should so do this!  Sara, how old will Landon be in 2011? When are school breaks? Maybe we should plan to go for Turkey-day 2011? Alison, how old is your little one? And how many more little ones will we have by then? I can just see us all having so much fun on a trip like this!!!!  It WILL be awesome!!!

Hey girls! Well, I went to your flickr acct Heather, and there are only 13 pics of Founders . . .am I missing something? Email has been fun . . . this might be a more realistic long-term thing though. I miss you all so much, but it gets better every day. "Friends we are, and friends we'll always be, we'll meet again, returning faithfully . . " You are all in my heart, and I will always love our times together.

I've finally seen every photo from this weekend! It has taken all week but I looked at he last 

Founders 2008 photo at 10:53 am (Friday, 11 April 2008)!!! 

Expect a 10% turn around, meaning there are 2157 and about 200 to 215 will be worth sharing. 

I'm excited to edit and post them.

Oh no! Everyone is mentioning their colds! I am sooo very sorry if I got you all sick! I tried to keep my germies to myself but it's hard not to hug and touch everyone when you are at Cottey! :)
I feel very bad that you are all getting sick and I am sending you healthy vibes so you can get better soon!

Fave Founders 2008 Memories

Lucky for me, blogger kicked us out for a few days . . . 

I've thought about this quite a bit, the weekend was pretty intense and awesome so how can one pick a single favorite? I could pick multiple faves but that would suggest they were all of equal importance or favorite-ness. While the entire weekend was AWESOME and AMAZING one part stands out.

I loved when we all gathered and sang around Mary's tree. Everyone coming together. Each of us enjoying a moment to remember. Time to bond and breathe and be who we are together and apart. I loved that Mickey suggested we sing. It was beautiful and perfect.

• When the assorted Jones girls (Whitney, Britney and FCC Prexy Chelsea) all thought we were so cool ...
  
• Seeing the FCC mascot CeCe present at Supper Sing
• Sneaking into Robbie on Friday night and running around like delinquents even though nobody seemed to care that we were being illegal.

How to Keep Track of Every Post

Okay, so I understand all of your concerns about how to keep up with lots of people posting. Here's my suggestion: RSS feed. I'm not sure if this is the same for PC as for Mac, so pc people let me know if this doesn't work and we can troubleshoot together. 

When you're on the page, click on the blue bubble in the address bar that says RSS. This will take you to a page that doesn't have flowers or ducks and looks pretty simple. When you're on this page, click on your bookmark button at the top of the page. You basically want to add the plain-jane page to your bookmark bar at the top of your window. If you add it so that it shows up as a tab at the top, when someone adds a new post to the page there will be a little number in parentheses next to the button you click on. Does this make sense? Then, every time someone posts, you'll know! No need to constantly check or think that you're missing out, you won't have to do a thing and it will let you know when you need to click over!

Yay!

Okay, seriously, I'm still tired from the weekend, so please tell me if I've missed something obvious, if this doesn't work, whatever.

Cottey girls!!!

Hello ladies! This is so cool! I don't know how I'm going to keep track of all this, but will try. I am missing you all so much already, and wish I could see you again soon. Cottey is one of those places that leaves you with mixed feelings of happiness, excitement, nostalgia, and heartache all at the same time. That's what happens when you grow close to friends, and I'm not sure that would have happened anywhere else.

This past weekend was wonderful, although too short, and I truly cherish all my Cottey girls. Muah!!!
